Embark on a journey of innovation and environmental stewardship with LEDASCO! Established in 2019 as a family-owned Czech company, we've evolved from our roots in traditional craft production to become pioneers in smart and sustainable urban forestry solutions. These solutions include TREEIB, set of tools for watering mature trees, strongly impacting ecosystem services production of trees in cities. Our story began with weaving willow fencing and creating living willow structures, fostering a deep connection to nature. The need for efficient watering of willows in drought periods led us to deploy watering bags we spot abroad. We become a Treegator watering bags distributor. Introducing these innovative products to Central Europe has transformed tree planting practices, saving hundreds of thousands of trees. Building on our success, we recognized the significance of supporting mature trees in urban environments. This mind shift culminated in the creation of TREEIB, a patented solution for watering mature trees in settlements. Crafted from Czech and German materials and manufactured with precision in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, TREEIB is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and global impact. In our relentless pursuit of sustainability, we've embraced innovation at every turn. In 2024, we proudly began manufacturing our products from upcycled materials. This process involves turning a misprinted material, which would end as a waste, burnt, into a useful product, further reducing our environmental footprint and setting new standards for responsible production. At LEDASCO s.r.o., collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We're honored to partner with the Urban Tree Offset Initiative z.s., a shared mission to maximize the ecosystem services of mature trees in cities. Together, we've pioneered a groundbreaking carbon credit program, harnessing the power of urban trees to combat climate change and enhance the livability of cities worldwide. Our dedication to driving positive change extends beyond product innovation. LEDASCO s.r.o. representatives are sought-after speakers at national and international conferences on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Our contributions to these conferences connect the newest science and research outcomes with daily urban forestry practivies, shaping new trends in urban forestry, and inspiring global action. Urban Tree Offset Initiative z.s.

The non-profit organization Urban Tree Offset Initiative, z.s. was founded in 2023 to mitigate and adapt to climate change. The NGO runs a carbon offseting program based on nature-based solution, that works primarily with trees in settlements already growing there. A pilot project has been carried out on eight urban trees in Brno and will be presented for the first time at URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup. Visit booth #6 and find out how you can turn the trees in your city into a financial asset and sequester additional carbon from the atmosphere. VISION: Every tree, especially those in urban areas, serves to maximize climate change mitigation and adaptation. This means that the tree becomes an asset, not a liability. MISSION: - Maximize the ecosystem services of carefully selected trees while maintaining their safety. - Implement measures that can achieve these goals. - Optimize these measures to make the most efficient use of resources and leave the lowest carbon footprint. - Find the financial resources to implement such measures. - Initiate and conduct research on measures that lead to the maximization of tree ecosystem services. - Initiate the implementation of urban forestry innovations into practice. The organization owns a license to future rights arising from patent protection under the invention application Method of reducing the CO2 content of the atmosphere by additional carbon storage in existing trees through appropriate tree selection and optimization of support measures (CZ202386A3).
