Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is not only the oldest, but also the largest chamber of commerce and industry in Hungary, with a diverse membership of around 4000 businesses from various sectors of the economy. BCCI is committed to supporting the economic growth and interests of its members and the city of Budapest. BCCI also plays an active role in the legislative process, the execution of economic programmes, and the regional development of the capital. BCCI offers a range of services and assistance to its members and the business community, such as economic analysis, professional training, recommendations, business relations, and legal and tax advice. BCCI knows that the success of the country depends on the success of its businesses. Our mission is to foster economic development and represent the interests of our members and the local businesses in Budapest. We adopt a ‘glocalisation’ mindset, which means we cater to both local needs and global challenges. As the capital’s chamber in the country, we have a leading role in the Hungarian system of chambers of commerce and industry. We help small and medium-sized enterprises to operate efficiently and to reach international markets. We are involved in economic legislation, lobbying, analysis, proposals, opinions, and information, as well as in cooperation with the government and local authorities. We benefit from the compulsory registration of businesses, which provides a comprehensive and updated database of business organisations.

We design and implement technologies for smart transport and smart buildings. We provide services and consulting in the field of GIS and asset management systems. We create 3D models of cities and buildings (BIM). We provide the service of the editor of the Digital Technical Map of the Czech Republic. We help optimize processes, reduce emissions and energy consumption, and overall improve the quality of life in cities. Together with partner start-up companies GIS OCTOPUS and ANTHONYapp, we form the innovative holding Advanced Digital Factory - ADF.

SC&C is a research agency that has been on the market since 1992. We carry out all types of research including sociological, public opinion surveys as well as surveys for municipalities and towns. We are flexible, understand the Czech market and appreciate every customer. For municipalities, we have developed a Demographic Portal - a functional tool for the professional as well as the general public, which provides users with up-to-date information on demographic development in the next 10 years in a given place (municipality or region). The Demographic Portal is a simple web application in which everyone can quickly get their bearings and can find the right basis for decision-making at any time.

SMS-služby s.r.o

The company SMS-služby s.r.o. was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association of Local Self-Governments of the Czech Republic. The purpose of its existence is to provide professional and cost-effective services to the membership base of the SMS CR, not only to municipalities, but also to their contributory organizations. We also offer a range of our services to non-member municipalities. Through our services, we try to relieve municipalities, cities and schools throughout the Czech Republic from time-consuming and professionally demanding activities that they inevitably have to deal with. We currently focus on the issue of personal data protection, administration of public contracts and subsidies, strategic planning, education, copyright administration or the issue of website auditing.
