Since 1997 the company has been manufacturing night vision technology very successfully itself and is a leading manufacturer in the civilian sectorand also established in the military sector with its subsidiary Jahnke Defence. Every single one of the night vision devices is painstakingly handcrafted in the factory in Allershausen, Bavaria.
