Mehler Engineered Defence GmbH (MED) develops and produces complex platform protection systems covering the entire range of naval craft, ground vehicles and aircraft as well as protection systems for critical infrastructures. As a fully integrated company MED has unique expertise ranging from the choice of fibre and the production of woven material to the combination with other protective materials, such as steel or ceramics. Rescue Trailer s. r. o.

Mit dem Rescue Trailer kommt 2022 eine Neuheit im Bereich der Personen- und Materiallogistik auf den Markt, die in ihren Abmessungen dem NATO-Palettenstandard 463L entspricht. Dank seines Faltkonzepts spart er Transport- und Lagerkosten. Es eignet sich für alle Einsatzszenarien bei Naturkatastrophen und kriegerischen Konflikten, nicht nur als Begleitfahrzeug, sondern auch als mobiler Stützpunkt, der Einrichtungen und Schutz für seine Besatzung bietet. Er ist mit einer Traktionsbatterie, einem Wassertank, einem Stromgenerator und anderen Geräten und Ausrüstungen ausgestattet, die individuell auf die Bedürfnisse des Kunden abgestimmt sind. Die Konstruktion des Anhängers ermöglicht den Einbau eines ballistischen Schutzes je nach den Anforderungen. Der Rescue Trailer ist bis zu 3,5 t zugelassen, seine maximal mögliche Zuladung beträgt jedoch 9 t. Dank der verstellbaren Deichsel kann der Anhänger hinter Autos und Lastwagen gezogen werden.
