Caravaning Brno introduced new model series for the year 2019

The 16th Caravaning Brno International Caravan Show was held at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 8 to 11 November 2018. Two halls were completely full up, where visitors could see hundreds of motor homes, caravans and electric cars, accessories and gear for camping. "Exhibitors occupied a record-breaking area of 18,600 square meters. In total, 66 companies from 6 countries were introduced. In the course of four days, 51 thousand visitors passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre," said Jan Kuběna, director of Caravaning Brno.

Same as last year, a separate hall was dedicated to premium brands this year. Hence, in Hall F companies such as Blue Rent, Campingworld Neugebauer, Caravan Metropol, J.M. Trade, Mercedes-Benz Vans Czech Republic and TOPTRADE exhibited. Represented brands included Bürstner, Niesmann + Bischoff, Hymer, Carthago, Malibu, Concorde, Frankia, Pilote, Le Voyageur and PhoeniX. Luxury motor homes were among attractions of the fair, and visitors could also view the interiors.

Other exhibitors presented themselves in Hall P, the biggest hall of the Brno Exhibition Centre. Companies such as Adria Karavany Moravia, Adria Karavany Sedlčany, Blue Rent, Car-Star, Caravan Centre Moravia, Caravan Centrum Pardubice, FIBICH CampingCars, FINASO, HvCARAVANS, HYKRO, KaravanTravel.cz, KOBRAS, Kov Velim, Rinen or Turčan-Auto had their displays in Hall P. Featured brands were, for example, CARADO, LMC, Pössl, Westfalia, BENIMAR, Dethleffs, Giotti Line, Itineo, Rapido, Fendt, Sunlight, Ahorn, CI, Eura Mobil, RIMOR, Globecar, Frankia, Tanja Vans or Mobilvetta. "Nearly all major companies engaged in the import and sale of motor homes, caravans and accessories were present at the fair. Visitors therefore had a complete overview of this segment across the entire market, and the trade fair became an ideal place for shopping, "added Kuběna. Exhibitors brought to the fair their models popular with customers, but there were also news for the year 2019. Caravaning Brno was in many cases the first trade fair event where these new models were presented to the general public.

An attractive part of the fair was its sideline programme. Well-known Czech travellers came to the fair to tell visitors about their experiences. Jakub Moravec focused on Scotland and the Nordic region, providing a wealth of information and advice on the increasingly popular winter camping. On Saturday, visitors met with Jiří Kolbaba, who had returned a week before the start of the fair from a two-month trip around Iceland. For the first time ever, he had completed the whole trip in a caravan. He also said at the trade fair that next year he would publish a new image book focusing on Iceland. Other popular parts of the trade fair included test rides with caravans or impact simulators and vehicle rotation.

The next session of Caravaning Brno will be held from 7 to 10 November 2019.
