The regional tourism organisation Region Gron has been operating for 10 years on the territory of the middle reaches of the Hron River - Žiar nad Hronom and Žarnovica districts in Slovakia. Together with our member entities we create conditions for the development of tourism and ensure the marketing of the destination. Region Gron is characterised by its natural landscape. Hiking and cycling trails stretched through the Pohronský Inovec, Štiavnické vrchy and Vtáčnik mountain ranges in combination with the navigable Hron River create ideal conditions for relaxation in the surroundings of nature.
