A workshop of shoemaking and haberdashery vocational schools with potential employers in the field. The aim of the workshop is to get a complete overview of the possibilities of secondary education in the above mentioned fields in the Czech Republic.
Programme:
- Presentation of the educational programmes of individual vocational schools
- Discussion with employers (manufacturers and dealers of footwear and leather haberdashery)

Come and find out the latest information on the re-introduction of the prestigious title “Master of Crafts” in tailoring. Conditions and rules for running the exams are being finalised at the moment. A candidate must demonstrate for example the following abilities during the tests:
- A comprehensive design and realization of a “masterpiece” requiring top skills;
- Theoretical knowledge, the art of dealing with a customer, quality assessment, definition of defects, etc .;
- The ability to manage an order and knowledge linked with business operations and managing subordinates;
Come and discuss the topic with members of the TOK Sector Council, who are preparing an evaluation standard for Master Tailors and with the Master Examination project coordinators. You can actively participate in the creation of rules for the evaluation and at the same time promote the top persons of the sector.
