Smart Collection (tips on putting together a collection that reflects current trends)

Lecture

The lecture will address the issue of composing a collection in small and medium-sized fashion stores and boutiques. The lecture will be divided into several parts:

- how to assemble a collection,
- what kinds of goods to repeat,
- how to incorporate new trends,
- percentage distribution of clothing types for effective sales and stock minimization.

The lecture will point out the autumn-winter 2019/20 and spring-summer 2020 collections.

Lecturer: MSc. Nikoleta Apostolu - co-owner of Fashionplanet. She defines the portfolio of a fashion group, cooperates on the creation of collections and acts as manager of the Fashionplanet boutique.

How to Sell Accessories and Other Goods

Lecture

The lecture is intended for owners, store managers, sales assistants and for all who are involved in the sale of complementary assortment in shops (shoes and handbag care products, shoe and foot sprays, shoe insoles etc.).
You will learn complete know-how about your sales strategy, including partial steps with practical demonstrations of product presentation to your customers. You will get an accurate insight into the psychology of the customer and the seller. All information will help you to make your sales more efficient and offer the highest quality customer service. There will be room for your questions at the end of the lecture.

What You Don't Know About the Materials you Wear

Lecture

Shop staff should have an overview of the materials from which the garment is made in order to be able to advise the consumer on the choice.
During the lecture, you will learn not only the correct marking of materials according to valid legislation, the properties of the most common types of materials and fibres, but also tips for their wearing and maintenance. Cotton, linen, wool, silk, lyocell, bamboo, nettle, hemp or misunderstood polyester, polyamide or acrylic. Are some fibres truly natural, including their production or is it just a marketing trick?
