4dot Mechatronic Systems s.r.o.

4dot provides technologies for technical diagnostics and process monitoring mainly for forming and machine tools, but also for other industrial equipment. 4dot is also a manufacturer of vibration and over-temperature sensors. Technical diagnostics creates savings in maintenance costs, while process monitoring saves tooling, improves quality and automates process control. 4dot has developed and patented MUSA analyses that can distinguish signal and noise through simultaneous signal processing, allowing 4dot's technology to achieve higher sensitivity than competing technologies. In engineering diagnostics, MUSA analyses enable monitoring of both mechanical press bearings, including clutch bearings where noise is extreme and a sensor cannot be placed directly, and slow motion monitoring of linear guides. The most common applications of engineering diagnostics also include monitoring ram clearances and movements during press operation. The goal of process monitoring is to automate and refine inspection. Its principle is the same for both forming and machining. Process monitoring provides information that cannot be obtained from the machine or by measuring the finished product. It is the real-time behaviour of the tool/product contact itself. In forming, it is possible to obtain information about, for example, tool addition or tool release. For machining, it can be used to find out about wear or breakage of the insert, which allows immediate reaction to such situations. MUSA analyses make it possible, among other things, to detect damage to multi-cutting tools. 4dot not only develops and manufactures this technology, it also ensures its implementation in the customer's process and subsequent services, whether it is technical support or condition analysis. By connecting to 4dot's cloud services, our technicians can remotely service, provide technical support, system setup and consultation. This reduces response time and the cost of these services.
