I am Bettina, founder and designer of the brand ducksday. Based in Belgium, that little country with the unpredictable weather.

I would love to tell you how the brand started, but first allow me to ask YOU a question. What was your most beautiful childhood experience and memory?

Let me do a little humble guess: The first time with your toes in the sea, sitting on the back of your mom’s bicycle, looking for something in the sand (which was not there), discovering the zoo, having a walk in the city while it was raining cats and dogs, playing hide and seek with your neighbours and friends outside or being surprised by the first snowflakes falling out of the sky?

I am pretty sure it was not watching tv, but rather a beautiful moment outdoors.

As for me, that is certainly the case. I was always outside, no matter the weather!

Growing up, becoming an adult and getting pregnant, I realised that I wanted the same for my child(ren): A future and endless memories in nature. I started to look for nice and quality outdoor wear for children. But I did not really find what I wanted, so I took action and started to design some things myself: colourful, unique and timeless designs that haven’t changed ever since.

Ducksday grew step by step and is now working with fantastic people. We are all convinced about what we can offer children and that every person in the making of our clothing should be rewarded fairly. We are always looking for new, sustainable ways to produce our clothes.

A sustainability which is sincere and not just a marketing concept.

We truly believe that children can only respect nature if they experience it. They are our future and we have to give them the same opportunities as when we were kids.

Summer Collection with UPF 50+ filter
Offers blocking of up to 98% of harmful ultraviolet radiation. The material from which our products are made is characterized by durability and resistance to chlorine and salt, and at the same time it is very soft and pleasant to the touch, which means that it does not irritate the delicate skin of the child.
Clothes with a filter guarantee not only sun protection on land and in water, with the UPF 50+ filter maintaining its effectiveness for a long time.
Our clothing is available in sizes from 68 to 164, covering the full age range.

Rain Collection with a 10,000 waterproof and 5,000 breathable membrane
Provides effective protection against intense rainfall, wind and cold.
Our offer includes rainsuits, perfect for rainy days, as well as jackets, pants and rain ponchos.
The fabric used is strong and durable, and at the same time soft and thin, which increases wearing comfort.
Additionally, the material is 100% recycled polyester and the impregnation is based on Bionic Finish Eco technology.
Our collection includes sizes from 74 to 152, and for women we offer raincoats in sizes S-XL.

Winter Collection with a membrane of 10,000 waterproofness and 5,000 breathability
In addition to protection against rain, wind and snow, our winter clothing has an exceptionally warm and at the same time light filling, ensuring thermal comfort even at temperatures down to -25 degrees C - thanks to 3M Thinsulate Extra Warm. As with other collections, we use recycled materials and the impregnation is based on Bionic Finish Eco technology.
Our offer includes overalls for babies, children and juniors in sizes 62-140, as well as various types of jackets, ski pants, thermal underwear, mittens, scarves and hats.
Clothes are available in sizes from 68 to 164, and for women we offer winter coats in sizes S-XL.
