Contact-Contract connects the advantages of traditional trade fair participation and increasingly popular business partner B2B meetings in a precise time and place agreed in advance. Those who register are allowed entry to the trade fair, giving a guarantee of meeting space directly at the exhibition grounds, and above all the certainty of confirmed business meetings. "The pre-arranged meetings soon started to be very popular among businesses. Our surveys confirm that a number of contacts established during this exchange continue and end with a business contract," said project manager Radek Kopecký.

Both Germany and Korea have already shown interest

The meeting will be held at the fair in autumn 2019, but exhibitors can now register for free on the portal. "When registering online, they fill in a profile describing their corporate activities and the type of cooperation they offer or demand. Registration profiles are subsequently published in an electronic catalogue, from which you choose partners to talk to and receive the result in the form of an individual schedule of your meetings," said Kopecký. You can find the Registration Form and an updated list of participating businesses on the portal of the event HERE. Alongside the Czech Republic, interest has been shown by Korea, Germany, Slovakia and Austria.

The traditional B2B event Contact-Contract is an opportunity to increase competitiveness and identify new markets. It is a joint project of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Brno, Czech and foreign partners belonging to the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), Chambers of Commerce and the company Trade Fairs Brno.

The International Engineering Fair is the most important industrial fair in Central Europe, with more than 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors each year. More than a third of exhibitors come from abroad. "Last year's Contact-Contract was attended by people from 233 companies from 13 countries, including trade fair exhibitors and visitors, and more than 300 meetings were held," added Kopecký.
